Kerry chooses Edwards
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry has named North Carolina Senator John Edwards, 51, as his vice presidential running mate.
Was there really any other choice?
- Dick Gephardt? Boring!
- Hillary Clinton? She's waiting to make her own run.
- Wesley Clark? Not quite!
This obviously was the safer and more realistic choice. Edwards should help with some of the southern votes. He's young, enthusiastic, and his looks don't hurt either. Plus, he was my choice for President.
